Hi Chaps does anybody know where I can get auto electrical cable in Durban. I want various colours and various dimensions. Some just need 1 meter length.

Need to be able to walk in the store and not look at me like I'm talking gibberish?

I've tried most of the big suppliers like diesel electric voltex etc they don't do.

Cheers

Perhaps have a word with a few auto electricians and hear where they get their stock

I managed to get hold of Unitrade they supply to a distributor in JHB KWH Agencies and he supplies to the Midas group but only specific branches. He says be careful of Chinese brands although they are cheap the quality is not very good rather buy the Axia brand. Unfortunately they only do plain colours. I think up to 7 different ones. The multi colour ones are a special order from the manufacturer of which they would need to order bulk quantity. He says which won't sell. That is why they stick to only certain plain colours. Alot of people buy just one colour then use a different colour heatshrink to mask it and that to has its limits.......

Try Willem from off highway techniques. He helped me whith different connectors and can make up whole looms if you can supply length and wiring diagrams.
